Completion of Pile Grouting Project in the Caspian Sea
Since January of 2015 Trident Group has been providing offshore pile grouting services as part of EPC project team on structural upgrade of platforms performed by CNGS Group for Dragon Oil (Turkmenistan). The project took place in the Turkmenistan sector of the Caspian Sea on aging offshore facilities build in mid 1970s.
The aim of the project was to increase structural strength of the aging jackets by means of grouting of 146 piles. The scope of work for Trident included following:
- Engineering and design
- Procurement and delivery of materials
- Provision of pile grouting spread of equipment
- Provision of personnel for operation of equipment and management of grouting operations including coordination of divers and construction team.
In close collaboration with well-balanced team of CNGS Group the project has been completed as scheduled, on budget and free from HSE incidents. It has been an honor for Trident to contribute to the overall success of the Dragon Oil’s assets life extension project and we are looking forward to joining efforts in the future projects.
